About me & this blog

A labor of love since roughly 2011, I've followed those original aesthetic impulses here to this corner of the internet. Here you will find the home of my entire creative vision-from my closet, to my sketchbook, to final projects. Welcome to my happy place.

FAST FACTS/ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who designs the site and blog posts?- I purchased this template through 17th Avenue (link below). Being a design student I hate to relinquish control over any piece of the process but, honestly, my HTML coding skills only could go so far at this point. If you are one of the blessed (cursed?) few who have followed my past attempts at blogging, you probably found a new site every time you checked in. Guilty as charged. Lo and behold I have discovered that the solution to the continuity problem was surprisingly-or not so surprisingly-right in front of me in my closet. My wardrobe is a sea of navy and pale pink so when choosing a unifying theme for my blog I knew I couldn't go wrong standing by those tried and trues.

What programs are used in the making of this website?- I utilize the entire Adobe Creative suite to make sure my entire body of work is most effectively communicated. I use Photoshop and Illustrator for the graphics that appear throughout, and InDesign for all layout based projects.

What about the photography?-All the photographs you see here, either on the website or the blog, are original unless otherwise stated. I use a DSLR for all high res/ professional photographs and my beloved Fujifilm Instax Wide polaroid camera for everyday, creative, fun photos.

Can I use graphics/ images from your website on my own website or blog?- Yes, of course you may, so long as you provide proper credit. This whole space is a labor of love and all content is original. If you wish to use anything you see, please link directly back to where you took it from. You can do this by highlighting the URL of the page or post that you are on. If you have any questions at all about whether you are providing proper credit/ links to your sources, from this or any other website, I would be more than happy to help you! When in doubt click the contact link above. I'd love to hear from you.
